Honor the men and women who have served and currently serve in the armed forces at the Portland Veterans Day Parade.
Since 1974, this event has been Portland’s only Veterans Day parade. It was founded by Vernon E. Ross, proprietor of Ross Hollywood Funeral Chapel.

2023 Portland Veterans Day Parade
The annual Portland Veterans Day Parade is Saturday, November 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The parade has hundreds of participants including veterans, marching bands, youth organizations, the 1st Marine Division Association, historic military vehicles, veterans organizations, and veterans motorcycle groups.
This year, the parade begins at NE Beech St. and NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., travels north and turns left to conclude on NE Emerson St. with closing ceremony behind 5305 NE MLK Blvd.

Attendees are encouraged to use public transit to get to the event. Parking is available on the street. If you’re up for a walk, try Lloyd Center or the Convention Center.
