There are many free meals, activities, freebies and discounts for military on Veterans Day 2019. The Oregon Zoo is celebrating by sharing a day of wild fun at no cost to military personnel and their families.
On November 11, military veterans and active military personnel, as well as family members who accompany them to the zoo will receive FREE admission. Families of deployed military personnel also will be given free admission.
That’s right. All military members and families qualify for this deal.
To receive free admission, visitors must show a military or veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification. For families of deployed military personnel, make sure you bring active duty ID.
The free offer does not include parking. Take Trimet or pay $2 per hour for parking, or $8 for the day. The zoo will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Can’t make it on November 11? Veterans, active service members and retirees receive a discount to the Oregon Zoo every day.
Get $2 off the price of regular admission when you valid military ID any day of the week. Discount does not include dependents, family, or friends accompanying military personnel.
