2024 Picnic in the Pearl
Picnic in the Pearl will feature the First Thursday Street Gallery you know and love, along with new vendors offering food, music and other local businesses. This large-scale, family-friendly event will be the go-to July 4 destination, spanning seven blocks from NW Everett to Lovejoy on 13th Avenue in Portland.
The event is Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 12-8 p.m. Picnic in the Pearl features 200+ local vendors. While you’re downtown, don’t miss the Waterfront Fireworks Show.

Picnic in the Pearl Activities
The celebration showcases variety and talent of local artists. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just looking for a unique creation to bring home, the gallery will have something for everyone.
Picnic in the Pearl will host a plethora of food vendors offering a wide range of cuisines. From gourmet food trucks to local restaurant stalls, there’s plenty to satisfy your taste buds. Don’t forget to check out the picnic area where you can enjoy your meals while soaking in the festive atmosphere.
For families and kids, a variety of games and activities are available throughout the event. Expect classic picnic games and interactive fun that will keep everyone entertained.
In addition, no celebration is complete without music. Local bands and musicians perform throughout the day, providing a lively soundtrack to your festivities.

Picnic in the Pearl is free to attend. Also, there is free parking at these locations in downtown Portland on July 4.
