Portland’s Holiday Market is coming to town! Shop outside the big box at the Portland Expo Center.

Does this event sound familiar? Instead of the annual America’s Largest Christmas Bazaar, the Portland Expo Center is hosting the Portland Holiday Market. This new holiday shopping experience focuses on local makers.

Attend the Northwest’s premier Christmas craft, food and gift show. 

Portland Holiday Market at the Expo Center

The Portland Holiday Market is taking place November 17-19, 2023. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Friday and  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The expo center’s 100,000 square feet will be filled with more than 450 exhibitors featuring handcrafted, artisan and unique items that can’t be found at big box stores.

Activities

On top of browsing the booths, stop by SantaLand to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, snap a photo in front of the decorated live giant blue spruce, watch a Christmas movie and enjoy Beaverton Modular Train Club’s interactive display. There is also a blood drive, holiday workshops and carolers.

Tickets

Ticket deal: There is currently a special ticket deal for Friday, November 17.  Get buy one, get one tickets by filling out this form.

Regular ticket prices are $10 for visitors 13 and older, plus a $2 processing fee. Kids 12 and under attend for free. Your ticket is valid for one day of the holiday market. You can save by purchasing a parking pass and admission for two for $20. 

The biggest downfall of events at the Portland Expo Center is the parking fee. You’ll pay $12 per vehicle. Free parking is available after 4 p.m. on Friday.

Another option is taking public transit. The MAX train drops you off a short walk from the expo center entrance.
