Take a bite out of Portland Taco Week, June 2-8, 2025! Check out the 40+ specialty tacos at Portland restaurants.
PDX Taco Week celebrates the culinary talent found in Portland’s taquerias, restaurants and fusion eateries. More than 40 locations are serving up specialty tacos in and around Portland.
Participating eateries are fixing inventive taco creations, many of which are designed just for this week. Choose from traditional tacos to new takes on the classic meal. There are also a few vegan options.
Tacos are $5: either one for $5 or two for $5, depending on the restaurant. Open hours and days vary by locations. Be sure to check before you travel.

Quesabirria taco: It’s shredded beef with melted cheese inside a corn tortilla topped with cilantro, onions, and pickled purple onions with a side of consomé that is the soup the beef was slow cooked in.

Plus, a bò kho birria tacos special on Tuesday, which is a combination of a vietnamese beef stew and birria recipe. It is a smaller taco with the same shell, with cheese or slow cooked beef, topped with onions and cilantro.

Taco Gobernador: Plump, juicy shrimp are sautéed with poblano pepper, onions, and a touch of garlic, then folded into a golden, slightly crispy tortilla layered with melted cheese that pulls with every bite. the shrimp are kissed with smoky chipotle or a splash of lime.
