Powell’s Books has been serving Portland’s bibliophiles since 1971. Now with four locations throughout the metro area, you have more opportunities peruse your favorite titles and support an independent bookstore.

This February, check off your winter reading list during the special annual sale.

Powell’s Books Friends and Family Sale

The Powell’s Friends and Family Sale is a celebration of literature, community and the joy of discovering new worlds within the pages of a book. This year, the sale is taking place for two full days.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 1, and Sunday, February 2. During the friends and family sale, you’ll get 20% off books at the four Portland-area locations. 

Explore the diverse collection and lose yourself in the aisles filled with literary treasures. From fiction to non-fiction, poetry to graphic novels, there’s something for everyone at Powell’s.

The sale is taking place in-store only. Each store is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except for the PDX airport location, which opens from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Powell’s City of Books: 1005 W Burnside St. in Portland
• Powell’s Books on Hawthorne: 3723 SE Hawthorne Blvd. in Portland
• Powell’s Books at Cedar Hills Crossing: 3415 SW Cedar Hills Blvd. in Beaverton
• PDX International Airport, South Concourse Post-Security in Portland

The sale does not apply to online purchases, gift cards, bag fees, select rare books, short discount books, magazines, calendars, electronic devices, external vendor items. It cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts.
