The Northwest Film Center and Portland Art Museum are connecting with audiences in a new way this summer.
From July 1-September 26, Cinema Unbound will host movies every weekend in an open-air rooftop cinema at the Lloyd Center with food, drink, fun weekend themes and costumes. The event will feature cinema classics, indie favorites, new releases, documentaries, animation and art across genres and styles.

The rooftop cinema will take place atop the Lloyd Center shopping mall in Portland. The top level of the parking structure will be converted into an open-air cinema experience. Before the show, you'll be treated to music and entertainment along with a great sunset over the city.
Doors open and music begins at 7 p.m. The film will start at dusk (around 8:30-9 p.m.). A limited number of chairs are available on a first-come basis, so be sure to bring your own chair or blanket.

Tickets to Lloyd Center's rooftop cinema are $20 per person and $30 per person for special VIP seating. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Advance tickets are encouraged, but you can show up day of and try to get admission if there are any spots left.
