Free Snack Fest Celebrates Portland Food

Snack Fest brings Portland’s food scene together for a two-day festival dedicated to snacks, drinks and local makers.

Created by the team behind Portland Night Market, the free, all-ages food festival features food trucks, hot food vendors, packaged treats and other food and beverage businesses. Visitors can browse the indoor marketplace, grab something to eat outside and meet some of the people behind Portland’s local food brands.

Here’s what to know before you go.

Portland Snack Fest

Snack Fest is held at 100 SE Alder St. in Portland’s Central Eastside.

The main festival and marketplace are free to attend and open to all ages. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Inside the market, vendors sell everything from baked goods and chocolates to hot sauces, coffee, snacks and other specialty products. Outside, food trucks and hot food vendors serve ready-to-eat dishes.

The festival also features live entertainment, demonstrations, educational sessions and opportunities to meet local makers. Special chef pop-ups and other experiences may be offered throughout the weekend.

Some experiences inside Snack Fest require separate tickets, including select dinners, competitions, classes and tastings. Fast passes may also be available for visitors who want to skip the general admission line.
