Join the Northwest Tibetan Cultural Association for a special celebration in the heart of downtown Portland: Tibet Day.
Since 1993, NWTCA has been a spiritual and cultural home for Tibetans living in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The community event invites you to celebrate the Dalai Lama’s 90th birth year, which is the year of compassion, with Tibetan food, dance, history.
Here’s what is in store:
Tibet Day at Pioneer Courthouse Square
Tibet Day is Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pioneer Courthouse Square. The community is invited to explore Tibetan culture at the free event. Here’s what is in store:
- Enjoy a full lineup of cultural performances.
- Join a celebration of Tibetan culture.
- Explore an exhibition on Tibet.
- Try delicious Tibetan food and peruse merchandise.
