Stock up on stamps for those Christmas cards, big announcements and any other future mail correspondence now. A USPS Forever Stamp price increase is coming soon.
While it may be a small increase per stamp, this increase adds up for households that often use stamps. If you like to save a little extra, here’s your chance.
What’s a Forever Stamp?
A Forever Stamp is a first-class postage stamp. These stamps are special because they are always valid for the current first-class stamp rate, regardless of any future rate increases.
If you use lots of stamps in your personal or professional life, it is worth the investment to buy stamps now at the lower rate.
When is the USPS Forever Stamp Price Increase?
The last day to buy Forever Stamps at the current rate of 73 cents is July 12, 2025.
The price of a Forever Stamp increases from 73 to 78 cents on July 13, 2025. For example, a book of 20 stamps will cost $15.60, up from $14.60.
In addition, the rate of a postcard stamp also increases from 56 to 62 cents on the same day.
Where to Buy Stamps
Stamps are available at your nearest post office. You can also buy stamps online at the current rate. Choose from a variety of designs.
