Your love of yoga and beer unites! Join local yoga company Yoga + Beer for practice and a pint at one of their upcoming events taking place at locations throughout the Portland area.
Yoga + Beer started in 2013 at Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. Since then, it has turned in to more than 1,000 classes in communities across Oregon and Washington, including 50 different breweries, wineries, cider houses, and coffee roasters.
In the past few months, the yoga company has embraced virtual classes to keep engaged with our yoga and beer loving communities. Now they are hosting their first come back class close to home, with safety and health precautions in mind.
On September 12 from 9:45-10:45 a.m., Yoga + Beer will be hosting a feel-good, outdoor Saturday morning practice in the grass at Level Beer in Northeast Portland.
To promote the health and safety, Yoga + Beer is requiring all teachers and participants to wear masks or a similar face covering in practice spaces before and after class, and at all times when participants are not on their mats. Participants will be allowed to remove their masks for the duration of the practice. Participants will be required to set up their mats 6 feet apart.
For a full list of safety and health policies, view Yoga + Beer’s website.
The class at Level Beer is capped at 25 participants. Advance registration is required as well as bringing your own mat and towel.
The Yoga + Beer class is $20, including your first pint. Or if you’d prefer to partake in the yoga session only, it will cost $15.
This event will take place at Level Beer’s brewery location at 5211 NE 148th Ave. in Portland. View more details and claim your spot on Yoga + Beer’s website.
