This special art trail features the cat from Laika’s movie “Coraline.” The movie is renowned for its innovative use of stop-motion animation, and it has received widespread acclaim for its visual style, story and eerie atmosphere.
Relive the film by going on an adventure to find all of the cats along this temporary art installation in Portland.

Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail
Experience the Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail in Portland from August 2-October 13, 2024. These art installations are free to visit at locations throughout the downtown area.
The trail features 30 cat sculptures transformed into works of art by local artists. Expect to see designs that are funky, wild, beautiful and inspired.
The cat trail includes an app that helps you find the cats, track your progress and get rewards for capturing each one. You can also vote for your favorite cat sculpture.
The event will culminate with an auction where you can bid on these feline statues. Proceeds benefit Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
