Crafts and Cocktails: A Holiday Market at the Crystal Ballroom

Get a head start on holiday shopping without spending a dime on admission. Crafts and Cocktails returns to Portland’s historic Crystal Ballroom on November 5 and 6, 2026, bringing together local artists, handmade gifts, music and cocktails for a two-night holiday market.

Hosted by Urban Art Network, the nonprofit behind Portland’s First Thursday art events, this free market is an opportunity to support independent makers while browsing one-of-a-kind gifts.

Here’s what to expect at this year’s event.

Crafts and Cocktails at the Crystal Ballroom

On Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6, the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom transforms into an indoor holiday marketplace from 4–10 p.m. each night.

The market features more than 75 local artists, makers and small businesses offering a variety of handmade goods.

Shoppers can browse items such as:

• Handmade jewelry and accessories

• Clothing and wearable art

• Ceramics and pottery

• Home decor and housewares

• Original artwork and prints

• Photography and other creative gifts

Whether you’re searching for a unique holiday gift or just want to see what Portland’s creative community has been making, there’s plenty to explore.

Visitors can also enjoy music and purchase craft cocktails and other drinks while shopping.

The event is part of a special holiday edition of Portland’s First Thursday art celebration. This year, vendors will be located in the main ballroom, and organizers are planning an additional experience in Lola’s Room. Details about that space have not yet been announced.

Admission and Location

Crafts and Cocktails is free to attend and open to all ages. No purchase is required to browse the market.
