Dozer Day lets your kids and kids at heart get behind the wheel with construction professionals.
The annual event aims to educate people of all ages about building sustainable communities, industry opportunities and public safety. Your family can get up close with heavy construction equipment, public safety vehicles and recycling trucks along with other fun, informational activities.
Here are the details about the October event.
Dozer Day at Clark County Event Center
Dozer Day at the Clark County Event Center in Ridgefield is October 7-8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is open to all ages. Kids get to climb inside and operate construction equipment guided by in-cab, experienced equipment operators. For big kids, ages 12 to adults, there are additional machines that are fun and safe to operate without in-cab guidance.
Other activities include the tire crawl and kids’ dig, contests, sponsor giveaways and more.
Advance tickets are $15 per person per day for all ages 2+, plus processing fees. The price increases to $20 at the gate.
Dozer Day is hosted by the nonprofit Nutter Family Foundation. There is also an event at the Lane County Event Center in Eugene June 1-2, 2024.
