Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month at El Tigre Fest. The free festival hosts Latin American food, arts and crafts, dancing, live music, and children’s activity for all ages.
Here’s what you can expect at the 2023 event.
2023 El Tigre Fest
El Tigre Fest is Saturday, October 7 from noon to 9 p.m. Bring your beach towels, blankets and folding chairs and choose your ideal spot to watch a full afternoon of performances at Cook Park.
Here’s the schedule of music, performers and dance groups:

- Conjunto Alegre
- Dreckig
- Gata Galactica
- Los Shadows
- Twin Seas
- Flamenco Northwest
- Baile Folklorico De Colores
- Son Latino PDX
Activities for kids and families at the Kids Zone include a free bike helmet giveaway, helmet painting, bike decoration station, e-bike expo, a drawing for discounted 2024 recreation programs and Skyhawks sports clinic from 1-3 p.m. Pack along your own water bottles to refill at the on-site water fountains.
More than 20 food vendors are serving delicious savory and sweet food. You can also peruse more than 20 local handcrafted art, craft and clothing vendors.
The festival is taking place at Cook Park, 17005 SW 92nd Ave. in Tigard. Parking is free. For more information, visit the City of Tigard website.
