From religious ceremonies to secular festivities, Easter is a time when families and communities come together to mark the end of winter, embrace the beauty of new beginnings and revel in the shared experience of joy.
To make your Easter extra special this year, I’ve gathered a list of happenings across the metro area.
Most of the events listed below are free. Some have a minimal charge to participate in Easter activities. If you’re attending an egg hunt, pack along your your own basket or bag.

Free Easter Bunny Photos at Cabela’s – Tualatin
March 23-31
Hop over to Cabela’s in Tualatin for a free photo with the Easter Bunny. Participants will receive a free 4×6 printed photo, with the option to purchase additional photo packages.
Cabela’s Tualatin is at 7555 SW Nyberg Street in Tualatin. Reserve your spot.
Easter Egg Hunt at Bella Organic Farm – Portland
March 30-31 | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kids and adults of all ages are welcome at Bella Organic Farm’s Easter Egg Hunt. There will be several hunts for specific age groups, including an adult egg hunt. Tickets range from $10 to $20 per person. There’s also lots of fun farm activities happening both days of the event.

Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration – Portland
March 30 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Nordic Northwest is hosting an Easter egg hunt and celebration. Parents, grandparents and friends can enjoy coffee and pastries while kids make crafts and hunt for Easter eggs. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.
Admission for four people is $20. Single tickets are $10.
The celebration is at Nordic Northwest, 8800 SW Oleson Rd. in Portland.
Easter Egg Hunt – Gladstone
March 30 | 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Kids 1 to 10 are welcome to join in the fun at the Gladstone Easter egg hunt. Most eggs are filled with candy. Some have prizes inside including ride bracelets to Oaks Park, kids meals at Old Spaghetti Factory, coupons to Bullwinkle’s and more. Egg hunts will be broken into age groups, starting at 11 a.m.
There is also a pancake breakfast onsite from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The price is $8 for adults and $6 for kids and seniors.
The event is held at Gladstone High School, 18800 Portland Ave. in Gladstone.
Easter Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt – Troutdale
March 30 | 7:30 to 11 a.m.
Northwest Christian Church Egg Hunt – Tigard
March 30 | 10-11:30 a.m.
Join us for a fun, outdoor, community-wide Easter egg hunt for kids in 5th grade and under at Northwest Christian Church. Every egg will have a candy prize inside. There’s also raffle prizes, donuts and coffee.
The event is held at 13405 SW Hall Blvd. in Tigard.
Topaz Farm Easter Harvest Festival – Portland
March 30 | 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
This year, start a new tradition on the farm. There’s egg hunts, visits with farm animals, Ukrainian egg decorating and more family activities. Tickets are $15 per person for all ages.
The event is held at Topaz Farm, 17100 NW Sauvie Island Rd. in Portland.
Neighborhood Egg Hunt – Portland
March 30 | 12 to 2 p.m.
Enjoy a free egg hunt, face painting and yard games hosted by Sojourn Church at Fernhill Park, 6100 Northeast 37th Ave. in Portland.
Egg Walk – Fairview
March 30 | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The City of Fairview is hosting an Egg Walk with games, activities, visits with the Easter Bunny and a special needs area.
Easter Bunny Express Train Ride – Portland
March 30 | 1-4 p.m.
Take a round trip train ride along the east side of the Willamette River with the Easter bunny. At the Easter Bunny Express train ride, kids will enjoy an Easter scavenger hunt and other activities. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for kids ages 3 to 12 and free for kids 2 and under.
Easter Egg Hunt – Wood Village
March 30 | 9 to 11 a.m.
Spring Egg Hunt – Portland
March 30 | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Have a hopping good time gathering candy-filled eggs at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center‘s Spring Egg Hunt. The hunt is open to children of all ages.
Advance registration is required. The cost is $10 per child.

Drive Thru Easter Egg Hunt – Beaverton
March 30 | 10 a.m.
Head to Westside Church of Christ for pictures with the Easter bunny, treats and a bag of eggs and goodies to take home for your own egg hunt.
The church is located at 5525 SW Menlo Dr. in Beaverton.
Plant Sale and Easter Egg Hunt at Oaks Park – Portland
March 30 | 10:45 a.m.-5 p.m.
Head to the Plant Sale and Egg Hunt at Oaks Park. The Sellwood Moreland Neighborhood Association is hosting the annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Afterward, you can ride the carousel and train for free. You can also buy discounted ride bracelets in advance using the code EGGHUNT24.
The Portland Fruit Tree Project will have a variety of fruting trees, vines and shrubs for sale. Receive 25% off a ride wrist bracelet with your plant purchase.
This event is for kids 12 and younger. Daily parking fees are $3-$5. Oaks Park is located at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way in Portland.
Easter Eggstravaganza – Portland
March 30 | 12 to 2 p.m.
Head to the park for an Easter Eggstravaganza, including Bible story, Easter egg hunt, candy, bounce houses, hot dogs, a fire truck, the Easter bunny, popcorn and prizes. All ages are welcome but only babies through 6th grade are allowed to hunt for eggs.
The event is taking place at Wilshire Park, 4116 Northeast 33rd Ave. in Portland.
Easter Drive-Up Event – Gresham
March 30 | 12 to 1 p.m.
Drive up and receive Easter treats for each child at Gateway-Gresham Elks Lodge #1805. All are welcome!

Easter Eggstravaganza – Portland
March 30 | 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Baskets are provided at this egg hunt hosted the The Life Church. There’s also a special area for children ages 3 to 5. Participants are invited to bring a canned food donation for the Oregon Food Bank.
The event is at Holly Farm Park, 10819 SW Capitol Highway in Portland.
The Great Wonderwood Egg Hunt – Portland
March 31 | noon-4 p.m.
There will be 500 eggs packed with goodies and ready to find. Stop by Wonderwood Mini-Golf, Wonderwood Springs, and the area around the building to find them.

Easter Bike Ride
March 31 | 2-4 p.m.
Join Kidical Mass PDX for a special Easter bike ride. Put on your bunny ears for this family-friendly ride from the Irving Park playground to Grant Park and back. The route follows neighborhood greenways and quiet streets.
The ride is a loop with a break at the playground in the middle. Kids should wear a helmet, be able to ride in a straight line, start and stop. Or bring the kiddos in cargo bikes, tandems, trailers or tag-a-longs. The ride happens rain or shine.

Stars Antiques Malls Easter Egg Hunt
March 31 | 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
While you peruse all the treasures at the 200+ booths, be on the lookout for the hidden eggs filled with candy and prizes, including two $50 gift cards to the antiques mall.

Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt – Portland
March 31 | 9-11:45 a.m.
First Baptist Church is hosting brunch and egg hunt on Sunday. Brunch is provided by board members of the Cambodian Children’s Ministry from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. Stay for the worship celebration.

Easter in Cully – Portland
March 31 | 10 a.m.
Join the C3 Church NE Portland in the Cully neighborhood for an Easter celebration. The event includes Easter eggs and baskets, a family photo booth, face painting and breakfast and coffee.

Easter Skate at Lloyd Center – Portland
March 16 | 2-4 p.m.
Lloyd Center ice rink is hosting a special Easter Skate with the Easter bunny. Kids ages 12 and under, with a valid skate reservation, receive an Easter bag filled with fun goodies, while supplies last. There’s also crafts, face painting, music and giveaways.
Admission is $17.

Easter Egg Hunt at Avamere – Hillsboro
March 22 | 3-4 p.m.
The annual Easter egg hunt at Avamere assisted living hosts a great search with an egg hunt, games and activities. The free event is for ages 2-12.

Easter at Gresham Station – Gresham
March 23 | 4-8 p.m.
Gresham Station Shopping Center is hosting a free, family-friendly Easter event, including a free photo with the Easter Bunny, interactive meet n’ greet with reptiles and baby goats. Guests can bring a canned good to donate to the SnowCap Community Charities “Fill A Bag” campaign. Reservations are required.

Easter Fest & Egg Hunt – Vancouver
March 24 | 2 to 3 p.m.
Enjoy afternoon of delightful discoveries, faith-filled activities and fellowship with friends and neighbors at First Presbyterian Church Vancouver. Instead of collecting candy from the eggs, kids trade in a designated number of eggs for a higher value prize. This year, kids are asked to collect (at least) one egg for every year they are old.
Along with the egg hunt, there is a fun plant project, a scavenger hunt, a community art piece, and a Holy Week-related craft.
The church is at 4300 Main St. in Vancouver.
