As the Rose City, Portland has many beautiful rose gardens that are completely free to visit. Summer events make these blooms even more special.

Flash Waltz at Peninsula Park Rose Garden
On Sunday, August 13, at 5 p.m. attend the 9th annual Flash Waltz. This free community event is open to everyone interested in dancing and enjoying the ambiance of shady grass lanes surrounded by roses and beautiful music.
The Peninsula Park Rose Garden Waltz Band will be playing 18 acoustic style songs. The event will last for about an hour.
The waltz is taking place at the Northwest corner of Peninsula Park Rose Garden near 700 N Rosa Parks Way in Portland.
