Gobble Up Portland, Urban Craft Uprising’s specialty food show, features more than 85 local and independent food, beverage and kitchenware makers along with food trucks.
The event has plenty for the everyday snacker and sipper as well as chefs and industry professionals.
Here are the details about the 2025 event.
Gobble Up Portland Specialty Food Show
Gobble Up Portland is taking place November 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Redd.
This is the ideal event for anyone who enjoys cooking and eating. The best part is many of the vendors will let you sample their tasty food and beverages. Stock up on holiday gifts, fill your pantry with local goods and discover new products from local purveyors to feature in your dishes. There’s also food trucks and a bar.
Cooking Demos
Learn a new skill from a local expert during of the the cooking demos:
10:30-10:50 a.m. Blueberry Lavender Latte with Bow Hill Blueberries
11-11:30 a.m. Chilaquiles with Hot Mama Salsa
12-12:30 p.m. Homemade Hummus with Alice’s Kitchen
1-1:30 p.m. Make the Perfect Tortilla with Three Sisters Nixtamal
2-2:30 p.m. Holiday Hacks: Vodka + Dumplings Edition with Kachka
3-3:30 p.m. Singaporean Sambals with Sibeiho
4-4:20 p.m. Fun and Unique Ways to Use Brown Butter with Buji Brown Butter
Cookbook Signings
The event has cookbooks for sale written by local authors as well as book signings. Here’s the schedule for book signings:
11 a.m. Pastry Temple by Christina Wood
12 p.m. Grow Cook Eat and Veggies for Breakfast by Willi Galloway
1 p.m. The Bartender’s Pantry by Jim Meeham
2 p.m. Fire + Wine Backyard Pizza By Mary Cressler
3 p.m. Preserving the Seasons By Holly Capelle
On top of all that fun you’ll have the chance to win free raffle prizes, including items donated by local restaurants and small businesses. The first 100 attendees through the door will also receive a swag bag with items from the event vendors.
Admission
Tickets are $2 plus a processing fee. Tickets at the door are cash only. Children under 12 attend for free.
