Kickoff the festive season at the annual Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration.
Every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the community gathers in downtown Hillsboro to enjoy performances, local artisans and activities for all ages. The event builds the excitement leading up to the tree lighting.
Here are the details about the 2022 event.
Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration
The Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration is Saturday, November 19 from 2-7 p.m.
More than 70 local vendors and businesses will help you get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping with handmade goods and gift cards. Downtown merchants will also host a variety of in-shop activities and promotions.
The event has a full schedule of entertainment. Here’s the lineup of live performance on the Cultural Arts District Stage:
- 2-3:15 p.m. Multiple Choirs – Seasonal
- 3:35-4 p.m. Canto Popular – Mariachi
- 4:15-4:55 p.m. Laura Cunard & Friends – Jazz
- 5:10-6:25 p.m. Oregon Chorale – Seasonal
- 6:35-7 p.m. Kelly & Joe Aloia – Classical
The main attraction of the event is the tree lighting ceremony. A locally sourced evergreen will be decked out and lit up as the community’s holiday tree. The tree will come to light at 6 p.m. followed by a sing-a-long led by Oregon Chorale.
