Kennedy School Birthday Bash

Celebrate the long history of Kennedy School as a Northeast Portland institution this weekend. 

Kennedy School is commemorating its 110-year history in Portland as well as McMenamins revitalization of the property. 

Head to the historic location for a special anniversary party open to all. 

Kennedy School Birthday Bash

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, attend Kennedy School’s anniversary. This event is free to attend.

Here’s the list of activities: 

Live music in the gym. Starting at 2 p.m., enjoy tunes from these local musicians:

• 2-4 p.m. The Make
• 4:30-6:30 p.m. Brooklyn Del
• 7-9 p.m. Federale

Get your face painted. Celebrate the occasion by sporting a special creation.

Cupcakes. Snack on a delicious treat to commemorate the anniversary.

Fill up on food and beverages. There are specials served all day at the various bars and restaurant. 

History and art tours. At noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., learn about Kennedy School during special tours. Keep in mind, this activity costs $10 per person.
