Portland Dumping Week
February 15-21, 2026
The annual Portland Dumpling Week is celebrating dumplings for its 12th year with specials throughout the city. There are more than 40 Portland restaurants putting their own fold on dumplings. Some will offer traditional flavors while others are embracing dumpling fusion by serving up a new take on the savory dining experience.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Bridgeport Village
February 21, 2026
Head to the shopping center for a day filled with happenings that capture the spirit of the holiday. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., immerse yourself in the rich culture of Lunar New Year with activities for all ages along with live performances.

On Saturday, February 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy a showcase of Chinese cultural activities, performances and food at the Oregon Convention Center.

Washington Square is celebrating the Year of the Horse with a special event focusing on taking the lead and success. Lunar New Year Celebration at Washington Square takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the mall’s center court with performances and activities.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Garden Home Recreation Center
February 28, 2026
From 4-9 p.m., enjoy lion and dragon dances, cultural dances, martial arts demos, Taiko Portland Drummers along with ballroom dancing, live music and lucky red envelopes. There’s a food vendor serving authentic Vietnamese flavors in dishes.

Lunar New Year Dragon Dance Parade and Celebration
March 7, 2026
On Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., attend the 10th annual Lunar New Year Dragon Dance Parade and Celebration. Celebrate the holiday with a special parade through Portland.
A 150-foot dragon is accompanied by lion dancers, performers, and a lively community parade through Old Town, Downtown and ending at the Oregon Historical Society Park Plaza.
