Get a special free ice skating session on Mother’s Day at Lloyd Center Ice Rink.

Despite the mass exodus of stores from the Lloyd Center Mall, the heart of the shopping center is still beating. Located in the center of the mall, the Lloyd Center Ice Rink is open seven days a week.

Did you know it was the nation’s first ice rink located inside a shopping center when the mall opened in 1960?

Visit this piece of Portland history and treat Mom to a fun activity.

On Sunday, May 11, from 12:15-6:15 p.m., head to Lloyd Center Ice Rink to celebrate Mom.

Here’s what is in store:

Moms get free skate admission.
Photo backdrop for memorable snapshots.
Goodie bags for moms.

For everyone else in the family, admission is $18 and skate rental is $5. Kids ages 4-5 skate for $15 (skates included) and ages 2-3 skate for $5 (skates included).
