Take a journey to a storybook world at the Portland Celtic Fantasy Faire.
The annual event brings the community together to celebrate Celtic culture, fun and fantasy. Here’s what is in store for this event in August.
2024 Portland Celtic Fantasy Faire
The 9th annual Portland Celtic Fantasy Faire is Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Shute Park in Hillsboro. This event is free to attend. Put on your best Celtic or fantasy attire and enjoy live entertainment, activities, food and goods.
Close to 100 vendors are onsite selling a variety of fantasy-themed goods. There’s also live entertainment all day long.
Entertainment Schedule
10:15-10:45 a.m. Sherwood Singers
11 a.m.-12 p.m. Crimson & Clover
12:15-1 p.m. Instar Dance Company
1:10-1:40 p.m. The Celtic Oddity
1:50-2:20 p.m. Riona
2:45-3:45 p.m. Rabble & Sage
4-4:15 p.m. Amma Andi
4:30-5:15 p.m. Lothlorien
5:30-6:30 p.m. FG Fiddlers
There’s also buskers and performers providing entertainment throughout the park.
Food and snack vendors are on site, ranging from gyros to baked goods to barbecue to subs.
The faire is held at Shute Park, Shute Park, 953 SE Maple St. in Hillsboro. For more information, visit the event website.
