2025 Portland Regional Gem and Mineral Show

Portland Regional Gem and Mineral Show is October 3-5, 2025. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, this event has something to inspire and delight you.

What’s Happening at the Show

This year’s show features more than 40+ dealers from across the Northwest offering a wide variety of unique items, including:

Rocks, minerals and fossils from around the world.
Jewelry, beads and faceted gems.
Lapidary supplies for all your rock-cutting needs.

Discover more than 70 displays showcasing a range of rocks, minerals and fossils. Some exhibits are competition displays while others are by junior rock hounds and collectors.

There are also presentations for adults and children.

Family-Friendly Activities

There’s no shortage of family-friendly activities, including:

Kids corner featuring games and prizes.
An interactive fossil area where you can get hands-on experience with fossils and ask questions from experts.
A cell phone scavenger hunt through the exhibits—don’t forget to wear your favorite rock and mineral t-shirt.
Kids have the chance to pan for real gold with the NW Minerals Prospectors Club through hourly drawings.

Special Presentations and Demonstrations

Presentations for adults and children take place throughout the weekend. Special guest demonstrations include a demonstration and exhibits from the NW Mineral Prospectors Club and the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals.

Plus, there are door prizes, raffles and silent auctions.
