The annual event is hosted by Samoa Pacific Development Corporation, a local nonprofit that serves the Samoan community in Oregon through educational and economic resources and cultural empowerment.
The festival invites everyone to an afternoon of community fun. Here’s how you can join this year’s celebration.
2025 Portland Samoan Festival
The 2025 Portland Samoan Festival is Saturday, July 12, from 12-5 p.m. This vibrant celebration of Samoan culture and heritage is at the Peninsula Park.
This lively event showcases the rich traditions of the Samoan community through a dynamic blend of music, dance, art and cuisine.
Performers at this year’s event include:

- Ekalesia Samoa Atia’e Portland Youth
- Island Soul Dance Crew
- Tausala Manaia Dance Group
- PSU Samoan Club
- Natia O Le Pasefika Polynesian Dance Group
- Paradise of Samoa
Food, art and clothing vendors are onsite. Peruse a variety of Samoan goods along with traditional and modern Samoan cuisine.
The event is free to attend. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
