Head to one of Portland’s most charming neighborhoods for a festive, community event. Be part of the decorating crew at St. Johns Ugly Sweater Tree Lighting.
The tree lighting event is held at the St. Johns Plaza. Here are the activities you can partake in:
- Decorate an ornament to hang on the tree with an ugly sweater ornament kit from IQ Credit Union.
- Snap a holiday photo in the Uniko Fotobus.
- Take in the sounds of the Roosevelt High School choir.
- Enjoy free hot chocolate from Wonderwood Springs and Cookie Monsterz cookies.
- Count down the lighting of the community tree, which will stay lit for everyone to enjoy throughout the season.
The St. Johns Ugly Sweater Tree Lighting is Friday, November 22, 5-7 p.m.
This event is free to attend. St. Johns Plaza is at N Lombard St. and N Philadelphia Ave. in Portland.
