Head to one of Portland’s most charming neighborhoods for a festive, community event. Be part of the decorating crew at St. Johns Community Tree Lighting.
The tree lighting event is held at the St. Johns Plaza. Here are the activities you can partake in:
- Decorate an ornament to hang on the tree with an ornament kit from St. Johns Boosters.
- Explore a makers market filled with creations from local artisans.
- Take in the sounds Portland Standard Time Band.
- Enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies from iQ Credit Union.
- Count down the lighting of the community tree, which will stay lit for everyone to enjoy throughout the season.
The St. Johns Community Tree Lighting is Friday, November 21, from 6-8 p.m.
This event is free to attend. St. Johns Plaza is at N Lombard St. and N Philadelphia Ave. in Portland.
