Join the Historic Trust for a magical evening of reflection, movement and creativity at the Summer Solstice Celebration.
Gather at the historic General O.O. Howard House in Vancouver for a free event honoring the longest day of the year.

The Historic Trust’s Summer Solstice Celebration
The Summer Solstice Celebration, hosted by the Historic Trust, is Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy poetry, yoga, meditation or simply to soak up the positive vibes at this event for all ages and energy levels.
Schedule of Activities
5:30 p.m. The evening begins with an informal gathering and a hands-on craft activity.
6-6:45 p.m. Local poet Christopher Luna shares poetry and spoken word, offering inspiration and reflection.
7-8 p.m. Stretch out on the lawn with Space to Bloom for a gentle yoga session and soothing sound meditation. Don’t forget to bring your mat.
8-8:30 p.m. Wind down the evening with more time for crafts.
This is a free community event.
