If you’re looking for a grounding experience to bring you peace of mind, take a tai chi class surrounded by nature at the Hoyt Arboretum.
Many tai chi moves use images from nature, including stable as a pine, flowing like a river and hands moving as clouds. Tai chi at the Hoyt Arboretum will allow you to connect the this imagery in a new way.
Each week the instructor will explore tai chi moves that are relaxing, improve focus and balance, and help you become rooted in the moment. No experience is necessary to participate.
This will be an in-person event with limited spots available. Participants should plan to arrive 5 minutes in advance to check in. Bring a water bottle water and any other items you may need.
Tickets are $8. Tai chi is taking place on Monday and Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Hoyt Arboretum’s Stevens Pavilion.
Class size is limited to 10 participants and registration is required. To purchase tickets, visit Hoyt Arboretum’s website.
