It’s time to burn off that Thanksgiving meal! Oaks Park is hosting special skate nights during Thanksgiving week. If you have relatives in town or you’re looking for an activity during your time off, head to Portland’s one-and-only amusement park for roller skating fun at a great price.
Oaks Park Roller Rink is known for hosting fun themed nights throughout the year. The holiday season is no exception. Here are five nights of fun activities happening during Thanksgiving week.
Thanksgiving Skate
This is the perfect way to burn off that turkey dinner. Holiday music played on Wurlitzer pipe organ will fill the rink and get you in the mood for the holiday season.
Thanksgiving Skate at Oaks Park is from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 28.
The Thanksgiving Skate will be $7.50 per skater. Skate rentals are sold separately and range from $2-$3.
School-Out Skate
If you need some entertainment before or after Thanksgiving, check out the School-Out Skate.
On November 25-27 and 29, Oaks Park is offering buy one, get one half-price admission from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Get the coupon for this discount.
Regular price skate admission is $7.50. Skate rentals are sold separately and range from $2-$3. With this deal, you’ll pay between $11.50 to $17.25 for two people, depending on skate rental needs.
PJ Skate
After Thanksgiving, the only thing you’re going to want to do is hang out in the PJs. You might as well make the most of it with a trip to Oaks Park. Have your Friday night fun and PJ comfort as you sport your favorite jammies. Family-friendly PJs only.
PJ Skate is happening from 7-10:30 p.m. on Friday, November 29.
You get to choose your deal on this special night: get free conventional skate rental OR $1 off open skate admission.
So, if you BYOS, the $1 off means you’ll only pay only $6.50 per person. If you need to rent your skates, you’ll pay the regular price for admission of $7.50. Both options are a great deal.
