Go Bowling at Big Al’s 

On Sunday, June 15, Dads get free bowling (shoes included) and one hour of arcade play an at Big Al’s.

Treat dad to lunch and get a great deal. There are two buy one, get one offers happening this weekend:

Raising Cane’s is serving up buy one, get one free box combos on June 15 and 16, 2025, at participating locations. Find out how to become a Caniac Club member.

Wendy’s is offering BOGO burgers June 15. This deal includes the Dave’s Single, Baconator and Classic or Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It is only available in the Wendy’s app.

Enjoy Oaks Park’s Free and Cheap Attractions

Did you know you can ride the carousel and train at Oaks Park for free? These historic attractions are complimentary during park hours. If you’re looking for a fun indoor activity, go rollerskating! The Oaks Park Roller Rink offers year-round skating fun for Portlanders. Admission is $13. 

On Sunday, Oaks Park is also offering dads a free ride bracelet with the purchase of a ride bracelet for their child.

Spend the Day at Washington Park

Washington Park is the keeper of Portland’s best attractions. The best way to access the attractions at Washington Park is on the free shuttle. See the route and choose an activity for you and your dad.

Search for Glass Floats

Take a drive out the Lincoln City for the Father’s Day float drop. This weekend, a team of “Float Fairies” discreetly place 50 handcrafted glass balls along the shoreline from Roads End in the north to Siletz Bay in the south. Stroll the beach, catch up with Mom and you may just find a special keepsake. 

Pick Some Berries

Get your hands dirty at a local you-pick farm. Strawberries are ripe and fresh for the picking. The drive out to a local farm for fresh air you and your dad are sure to enjoy. 

Take a Ride on the Trolley

Take Dad for a scenic ride aboard the vintage Willamette Shore Trolley in Lake Oswego and Portland. You’ll go back in time to when electrified trolleys transported citizens throughout the Portland area. The Willamette Shore Trolley passengers ride in a replica of Portland’s Council Crest cars. Tickets are $10 per person and the trolley runs on Saturday and Sunday.

Head to Portland Saturday Market

Explore local arts, crafts, food and performers at Portland Saturday Market. The market is back every Saturday in Downtown Portland. It features more than 250 booths filled with handcrafted goods and is free to attend.

Let Dad Pick Out a Gift at Rose City Book & Paper Fair

Explore more than 60 independent booksellers at Rose City Book & Paper Fair, June 14 and 15. Dad can choose from underground zines, quirky vintage photo albums, antiquarian tomes and signed first editions from today’s hottest authors. Tickets are $5. 

Find a One-of-a-Kind Gem at a Neighborhood Garage Sale

Does your dad like looking for hidden treasures? Peruse the Sandee Palisades garage sale in Troutdale on Friday and Saturday and Arbor Lodge in Portland on Saturday and Sunday. 

Take a Drive to Vista House

Take a day trip and visit the crown jewel of the Columbia River Gorge. The historic 1918 Vista House at the top of Crown Point offers visitors an incredible view of the Columbia River Gorge. It is open on Saturday and Sunday during Father’s Day weekend and is free to visit.
