Pioneer Courthouse Square is hosting the Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition.

Head downtown for a special evening of song and holiday cheer. While you’re there, stop by the Gingerbread Masterpiece at The Benson.

Here are the details on the 2022 event. 

2022 Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition

On Friday, December 9, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., carolers are taking over Portland’s Living Room as well as a ten-block radius in downtown. Visit Pioneer Courthouse Square, take a stroll around downtown and choose your favorite caroling group.

The Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition hosts 12 singing groups that entertain visitors while competing for the coveted title of best carolers. Best of all, you and the crowd get to choose the winners.

The top three caroling groups will hold a “carol-off” at the Pioneer Courthouse Square, hosted by KGW’s Drew Carney.

The grand prize winner will be selected by crowd applause and awarded $1,000. Second and third place prizes, as well as people’s choice, will also be awarded.

The free caroling competition is held rain or shine. Pioneer Courthouse Square is located at 701 SW 6th Ave.
