As a thank you to our community for helping the historic attraction keep the lights on during the challenges of the past two years, Oaks Park is offering a special Halloween Night Fireworks show.
Portland’s very own amusement park has been bringing joy to the young and young at heart since 1905. In fact, it is one of the oldest continually operating amusement parks in the country.
After closing the gates for 2020, Oaks Park reopened to visitors in April of this year. The park has expanded its offerings during the Halloween season and joined the ranks of Portland best haunted attractions. As night falls, monsters of all shapes and sizes transform the beloved amusement park into an attraction of horrors. Oaks Park ScareGrounds features three walk-through haunted houses open on select nights in October.
On October 31, the Halloween night fireworks at Oaks Park is free to attend. The display is taking place over the right on the west edge of the park. The weather should offer a dry night for viewing.
The show begins at 7 p.m. in Portland on Halloween. I recommend arriving early to claim your spot on the lawn or good parking to view the show. The fireworks display will last for about 25 minutes.
Masks are required for all visitors 5 years of age and older.
Oaks Park is located at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way in Portland. For more information, visit the Oaks Park website.
