McMenamins offers a multitude of fun activities, from annual celebrations to weekly live music to monthly gatherings in their historic locations across the Portland area.
One of my favorite free events is McMenamins Paranormal Pub, a monthly event that takes place in the Kennedy School Theater. McMenamins History Department brings its inquisitive audience scholars, writers, experiencers and experts to discuss a range of paranormal topics, from Sasquatch to UFOs, ESP to cryptids.
On Sunday, August 16, McMenamins Paranormal Pub is going virtual. Its topic will be UFO Journey – Finding the Path Forward. Here are a full details about the upcoming event.
McMenamins Virtual Paranormal Pub: UFO Journey – Finding the Path Forward
James E. Clarkson looks back over 30 years of UFO Investigations from the Pacific Northwest. What happens when an experienced criminal investigator interviews abductees, police officers and pilots who’ve encountered UFOs? From a crashed UFO that became a local legend and a witness who managed an office for Wright-Patterson scientists involved in the cover-up, to many other notable northwest UFO encounters, this presentation covers it all.
These are the best cases from the UFO Detective’s career, where Truth is Stranger than Fiction. From selected UFO cases, the key witnesses have been recontacted, years after the fact, to ask how their experiences have changed their perspectives. Their candid comments are startling and insightful.
Particularly in light of the fact that UFOs are in mainstream news now – James Clarkson brings his perspective, along with those of the witnesses he’s worked with, to what appears to be the disclosure of UFO reality by our own government. Join us to better understand the latest UFO headlines of 2020.
