We see reports every day of the people who are working tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Amid our current crisis, Starbucks is giving back to front-line responders.
Through May 3, Starbucks will give front-line responders a tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) at no charge.
Who qualifies for this deal? First responders are usually considered police, firefighter and emergency medical technician (EMT). This deal extends its reach by recognizing front-line responders, which also includes doctors, nurses and other hospital workers.
If you are a first responder who plans on getting a much deserved pick-me-up, make sure you bring along your work ID in case you are asked to verify your front-line responder status.
In addition to the free coffee, the Starbucks Foundation will donate $500,000 to support the delivery of personal protective equipment and essential medical items, and deliver 50,000 care packages and handwritten letters to first responders and health care workers.
