Go By Bike Day at Oaks Park invites locals to trade four wheels for two and experience a day packed with fun, connection and classic amusement park thrills.
From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., cyclists of all ages are encouraged to ride their way to Oaks Park, turning the journey itself into part of the adventure.
Here’s how you can join the fun.
Go By Bike Day at Oaks Park
Go By Bike Day is Sunday, May 3, from 12-7 p.m. at Oaks Amusement Park. All visitors who arrive by bike score a 25% discount on ride wristbands.
The standard price for adults is $44.45 and $23.45 for kids. This deal saves roughly $11 for adults and $5 for kids ticket wristbands.
Convenience is part of the appeal. The Springwater Corridor runs directly past the park’s front gate, and special event bike parking will be set up near the iconic Ferris wheel. Once you roll in, you’ll be ready to jump right into the festivities.
In addition to the ride discount, attendees can take part in a variety of cycling-focused activities, including:
- Free bike tune-ups from local bike shop Sellwood Cycle Repair
- A DIY bike decoration station with custom bike license plates
- A bike-themed raffle for gear and accessories
- Free bike valet parking provided by Go By Bike
Plus, a vendor fair showcases local businesses and makers. From cycling organizations to creative artisans, vendors like Bikes for Humanity PDX, Bike Town, Black Stone Stitchworks, Double Darn, Reflective Society, and UpTassels will be on hand.
Of course, all of this takes place alongside the timeless charm of Oaks Park itself. With nearly 25 rides, classic carnival games, mini golf, roller skating and food, there’s no shortage of ways to keep the fun going all day long.
Oaks Park is at 7805 SE Oaks Park Way in Portland. For more information, visit the event page.
