Bank of America’s Museums On Us program lets customers visit Portland museums for free the first full weekend of the month.
Hundreds of museums and attractions participate in the Bank of America free museum days in cities across the United States. In Portland, we have one participating location.
Here are all the dates for 2026, participation details and where you can cash in on this free admission in and around Portland.
2026 Bank of America’s Museums on Us Free Museum Days
The free museum days are available on Saturdays and Sundays during the first full weekend of the month. Here are the 2026 dates:

- March 7 and 8, 2026
- April 4 and 5, 2026
- May 2 and 3, 2026
- June 6 and 7, 2026
- July 4 and 5, 2026
- August 1 and 2, 2026
- September 5 and 6, 2026
- October 3 and 4, 2026
- November 7 and 8, 2026
- December 5 and 6, 2026
How to Participate
It’s easy. Show your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card and a photo ID on Saturday or Sunday for one free general admission ticket. Currently, this ticket cannot be booked online in advance.
The Museums on Us free admission is available for cardholders only. Guests are not eligible for free admission.
Participating Museums
In 2026, only one local museum is participating in this program. Cash in on Museums on Us at the Portland Art Museum:
Portland Art Museum: Located in the heart of downtown, Portland Art Museum is internationally renowned for exciting art experiences. Tour the collection of permanent galleries and six stories of modern art. The museum offers some incredible exhibits temporarily on display.
With Bank of America’s Museums on Us discount, you’ll save $27.50 on the general admission ticket.
