2025 Portland Tree Lighting Ceremony
The 41st annual Portland Tree Lighting Ceremony lights up downtown Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:30-6:45 p.m. at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
At the event, Thomas Lauderdale from Pink Martini leads the sing-along with local musicians and chorale singers.
The chorus of voices from performers and the crowd lead up to the big moment. Santa Claus flips the switch lighting the 75-foot Douglas fir illuminated with nearly 10,000 colorful lights.
Pioneer Courthouse Square is at 701 SW 6th Ave. in Portland. For more information and to download the songbook, visit Pioneer Courthouse Square’s website.
