2025 Portland Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving

Where to dine out on Thanksgiving in Portland.

Leave the stress of preparing a holiday feast behind by dining at one of these Portland restaurants. Here’s a list of local and chain restaurants open on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, 2025.

This year, many of these restaurants are offering Thanksgiving meals to go. I have mentioned those options with participating restaurants below.

2025 Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving

Local Restaurants

Banning’s Restaurant

Have Thanksgiving breakfast at Banning’s. The restaurant is open 7 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving. 

The restaurant is at 11477 SW Pacific Hwy in Tigard.

Brix Tavern

Brix Tavern has a buffet style family meal with all the fixings on Thanksgiving for $54.95 for adults and $17.95 for kids 12 and under.

Reservations are available 12-8 p.m. Brix Tavern has two locations: 1338 NW Hoyt St. in Portland and 8187 SW Tualatin Sherwood Rd. in Tualatin.

Brix is also offering family meals to go. 

Bullard Tavern

Bullard Tavern is serving a special Thanksgiving plate with smoked turkey and all the fixings for $45, along with a variety of Bullard favorites, homemade pies, cocktails and wine. There are multiple entree options to choose from. 

Reservations are available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The restaurant is located at 813 SW Alder Street in Portland.

Bullard Tavern is also offering a family meal boxes to go.

Cascade Grill

At Cascade Grill from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., get your choice of turkey, ham or a combination with all the fixings and dessert for $34.95 per person. Kids 10 and under are $20.95. If you have a CDL, your Thanksgiving meal is $30.95.

Dinner includes:

• Roast turkey, honey-baked ham, or a combination
• Dinner salad with a roll and butter
• Mashed potatoes with turkey gravy
• Cranberry sauce
• Sage stuffing
• Candied yams
• Apple or pumpkin pie with whipped cream

Cascade Grill is at 10200 N Vancouver Way in Portland. You can also order your Thanksgiving meals to go.

Chart House

Chart House has a special three course menu available on Thanksgiving for $75. Choose from a variety of main dishes, including a traditional turkey dinner, prime rib, shellfish linguine, lobster tails, filet mignon, sea bass, NY strip and more. 

The restaurant is located at 5700 SW Terwilliger in Portland.

The restaurant is also offering a family meal pack to go. 

Coyote’s Bar and Grill

The bar is open 4 p.m. to midnight with karaoke starting at 8 p.m.

Coyote’s Bar and Grill is at 5301 East Main St. in Hillsboro.

Edgefield

The Blackberry Hall at McMenamins Edgefield serves a Thanksgiving buffet for $55 for adults, $33 for kids 5-12 $25 and free for ages 4 and under. Black Rabbit Restaurant and Power Station Pub are also open, serving a regular menu and Thanksgiving specials.

Edgefield is at 2126 S.W. Halsey St. in Troutdale.

Elmer’s

Local Elmer’s restaurants are open for limited hours on Thanksgiving. Check the hours at your nearest location.

Golden Valley Brewery

Golden Valley Brewery in Beaverton serves Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Options include a starter, dessert and entrees that range in price from $32-$52. Entree options include turkey, salmon, prime rib and wild mushroom and leek bread pudding.

The restaurant is also offering a Thanksgiving feast to-go.

Golden Valley brewery is at 1520 NW Bethany Blvd. in Beaverton.

Hal’s Café at Crystal Hotel

Hal’s Café at the Crystal Hotel is open from 4-10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. 

The cafe is at 303 S.W. 12th Ave. in Portland.

Hayden’s Bar and Bistro

Located inside Oxford Suites Portland, Hayden’s serves Thanksgiving dinner from 4-10 p.m. Prices are $25 per plate. 

No reservations required. Dinner is first come, first served. 

Hayden’s Bar and Bistro is at 12226 N Jantzen Dr. in Portland.

Jake’s Grill

Jake’s Grill is serving a Thanksgiving pre fixe menu for $39 for adults and $15 for children. 

Turkey dinner includes: 

• Choice of butternut squash bisque or seasonal salad
• Roasted turkey
• Mashed potatoes and turkey gravy
• Cornbread dressing
• Seasonal vegetables
• Cranberry sauce

The restaurant is also offering a Thanksgiving feast to-go.

Jake’s Grill is at 611 SW 10th Ave. in Portland

Kennedy School

McMenamins Kennedy School serves a Thanksgiving buffet including the classics, from roast turkey to pumpkin pies, plus some delicious sides. The price is $55 for adults, $33 for kids 5-12 and free for kids 4 and under. The Courtyard Restaurant will also be open, serving its regular menu and Thanksgiving specials.

Kennedy School is at 5736 N.E. 33rd Ave. in Portland.

Metropolitan Tavern

Metropolitan Tavern at the top of Hotel Eastlund serves a buffet on Thanksgiving from noon to 8 p.m. The price is $54.95 for adults, $17.95 for kids 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under. 

The restaurant is at 1021 NE Grand Avenue, #600 in Portland.

Mother’s Bistro

On Thanksgiving from 2-6:30 p.m., Mother’s Bistro is serving a three-course prix fixe meal for $75 per person and $40 for kids under 12.

Menu includes a traditional turkey plate with all the fixings along with a starter, pie and drink. 

Mother’s Bistro is at 121 SW 3rd Ave. in Portland. 

Po’Shines Cafe de la Soul

Po’Shines hosts free meals on Thanksgiving. From noon to 4 p.m. Vegetarian options are available. This year, the meal is to-go only. 

Poshines Cafe De La Soul is at 8139 N. Denver Ave. in Portland.

Posie’s Cafe

Posie’s Cafe serves up coffee and sweet and savory bites on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. to noon. 

Proof Reader

Proof Reader is open 5 to 9:45 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The buffet $55 for adults and $30 for children.

Proof Reader is at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront, 1401 SW Naito Parkway in Portland.

Prost!

On November 27 at 6 p.m., the German pub is serving a free Thanksgiving meal of homemade turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes. Once the feast is gone, the regular food menu will be available for purchase.

Prost! is open 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. at 4237 N Mississippi Ave.

Salty’s on the Columbia

Salty’s on the Columbia is serving a Thanksgiving all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. The price is $125 for ages 16+, $60 for ages 10-15, $30 for ages 5-9 and free for 4 and under. 

Salty’s is already fully booked. 

Studio One Theaters 

Studio One Theaters celebrates Thanksgiving with all-you-can-eat dinner along with first-run movie showings.

The Thanksgiving feast is $45 for adults and $29 for children 12 and under.

Dinner and movie reservations are booked separately. Studio One Theaters is at 3945 SE Powell Blvd. in Portland.

Taylor Street Tavern

From 12-8 p.m., Taylor Street Tavern is serving a buffet dinner on Thanksgiving. The meal for adults is $54.95, $17.95 for kids ages 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under.

Taylor Street Tavern is at 808 SW Taylor St. in Portland.

Tik Tok Restaurant and Bar

Tik Tok serves turkey dinner and ham dinner plates on Thanksgiving along with other holiday specials.

The restaurant’s three locations, 11215 SE Division St, 3330 SE 82nd Ave. and 11239 SE Division St., are open 24 hours a day.

Urban Farmer

The Urban Farmer steakhouse is open 12-8:30 p.m. offering a four-course prix-fixe Thanksgiving experience. The price is $95 per adult and $36 for kids 12 and under.

Urban Farmer is at 525 SW Morrison St. in Portland.

The restaurant is also serving a Thanksgiving meal to go. 

Who Song & Larry’s

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., visit Who Song & Larry’s for a special three-course Thanksgiving meal and $6 margaritas, beers, champagne and mimosas. The Thanksgiving special is $35 for adults and $12 for kids.

Who Song & Larry’s is at 111 SE Columbia Way in Vancouver.

Chain Restaurants

Black Angus Steakhouse

The Vancouver Black Angus Steakhouse is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A traditional turkey dinner is $29.99 for adults and $12.99 for kids. 

Black Angus Steakhouse is at 415 East 13th Street in Vancouver.

Black Bear Diner

Black Bear Diner serves up turkey homestyle dinners on Thanksgiving along with the full menu starting at 11 a.m. Be sure to check hours at your closest location before you visit. 

Nearby locations include 3737 SE 82nd Ave. in Portland; 13435 SW Tualatin Valley Hwy. in Beaverton; 1505 SE 164th Ave. in Vancouver; and 105 NE Burnside Road in Gresham.

Claim Jumper

Claim Jumper offers a three-course feast on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The roasted turkey meal is $32 per person. Other entree options include prime rib, salmon and ham.

The closest Claim Jumper locations are at 9085 SE Sunnyside Rd. in Clackamas and 18000 SW Lower Boones Ferry Road in Tualatin.

Dutch Bros 

Dutch Bros serves all of its delicious beverages. Order a Thanksgiving Morning from the Secret Menu. See your favorite location for specific hours.

McCormick & Schmick’s

At McCormick & Schmick’s Harborside, get a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings for $39 for adults and $15 for kids. The regular dinner menu is also available.

McCormick & Schmick’s will also be offering a pre-ordered feast to-go.

The restaurant is located at 17015 SW 72nd Ave. in Tigard.

Morton’s Steakhouse

Morton’s Steakhouse is serving a traditional Thanksgiving four-course meal for $69 per person. The restaurant’s main menu will also be available.

The steakhouse is at 213 SW Clay St. in Portland.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse 

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse offers a traditional meal with starters and sides of your choice for $48 for adults and $20 for kids starting at 11 a.m.

The steakhouse is at 850 SW Broadway St. in Portland. 

2024 Restaurants

JinJu Patisserie

The pastry shop is not open on Thanksgiving this year.
